14 treatments • 30-minute wear • Dry-strip design

Classic peroxide whitening. Made simpler.

White in Minutes® 3% Hydrogen Peroxide Teeth Whitening Strips combine traditional peroxide whitening chemistry with a simple dry-strip format. Each flexible upper and lower strip is coated with a 3% hydrogen peroxide formula and designed to stay in close contact with the teeth during a 30-minute whitening treatment.

The formula helps break down colored compounds associated with everyday tooth discoloration, including staining from coffee, tea, red wine, soda, tobacco and strongly pigmented foods.

No trays, syringes or LED lights required. Each box contains 14 individually packaged treatments for an easy at-home or travel-friendly whitening routine.

Best for: adults looking for a straightforward peroxide-based whitening option for natural teeth.

Whitening that fits into real life

Whitening strips keep the routine simple: apply them to clean, dry teeth, wear for approximately 30 minutes, then remove and discard. No tray fitting, gel measuring or equipment setup is required.

Individually packaged treatments make the strips convenient for home routines, travel, busy schedules or occasional whitening touch-ups.

What stains can teeth whitening strips help with?

Hydrogen peroxide whitening strips are particularly useful for teeth that have gradually become darker or more yellow from everyday staining. They may help improve discoloration associated with:

Coffee and tea- Dark pigments can accumulate on tooth surfaces with frequent consumption.

Red wine- Chromogens and tannins in red wine can contribute to visible staining over time.

Soda and dark beverages- Repeated exposure to highly pigmented drinks can gradually affect tooth color.

Tobacco- Smoking and tobacco use can produce persistent yellow or brown discoloration.

Pigmented foods- Tomato sauces, berries and other strongly colored foods can contribute to staining.

Normal aging- Teeth naturally tend to appear darker or more yellow over time as enamel and the underlying tooth structure change.

Not every type of tooth discoloration responds the same way to whitening. Deep internal discoloration, medication-related staining, dental restorations or color changes caused by dental conditions may require professional evaluation.

Are hydrogen peroxide whitening strips right for you?

These strips may be a good fit if you:

  • want a convenient at-home teeth whitening option
  • prefer traditional hydrogen peroxide whitening
  • drink coffee, tea, red wine or other staining beverages
  • want to whiten without fitting trays or using syringes
  • need a portable option for travel
  • are whitening for the first time
  • want occasional touch-up treatments after completing a previous whitening routine

Consider another whitening option if you:

  • specifically want to avoid peroxide
  • experience significant tooth sensitivity
  • want greater control over whitening gel strength
  • primarily want to whiten crowns, veneers, fillings or bonding, which whitening products cannot change

How To Use

Step 1: Prepare your teeth

Gently brush and floss without using toothpaste immediately before treatment.

Dry your teeth and hands before opening the individual treatment pouch. A dry surface helps the strips adhere.

Remove each strip from its backing and place the gel side against the front of the teeth. Fold the remaining portion behind the teeth to help secure it.

Step 4: Whiten for 30 minutes

Leave the upper and lower strips in place for approximately 30 minutes. Do not eat, drink, smoke or chew gum while wearing them.

Step 5: Remove and rinse

Remove and discard the strips, then rinse your mouth thoroughly with water.

Expert Tips

Dry teeth make a difference

Moisture can make whitening strips harder to position. Dry the fronts of your teeth before application to help improve contact between the strip and tooth surface.

Position the strip before folding it

Line the straight edge of the strip near the gumline first, gently press it against the fronts of the teeth, then fold the excess behind them.

Consistency matters more than rushing

Follow the recommended treatment schedule instead of increasing wear time. Longer treatments are not necessarily better and may increase the likelihood of sensitivity.

Watch highly pigmented foods after whitening

Coffee, tea, red wine, tobacco and strongly pigmented foods can contribute to new staining. Limiting them immediately after whitening may help preserve your brighter appearance.

Sensitivity doesn't mean you need to abandon whitening

Some people experience temporary sensitivity with peroxide whitening. Spacing treatments farther apart can make the routine more comfortable.

Keep unopened treatments properly stored

Store unused strips in a cool, dry environment away from excessive heat and direct sunlight.

FAQs

Do 3% hydrogen peroxide teeth whitening strips work?

Yes. Hydrogen peroxide is a commonly used tooth-whitening ingredient that helps break down colored compounds associated with staining and discoloration. White in Minutes® strips contain 3% hydrogen peroxide and keep the whitening formula in contact with the teeth during each 30-minute treatment.

Results vary according to starting tooth shade, the type of staining, whitening history and lifestyle habits.

How does 3% hydrogen peroxide whiten teeth?

Hydrogen peroxide whitens through oxidation. It interacts with colored stain compounds within and on natural tooth structure and helps break them into smaller, less visibly colored molecules, causing the teeth to appear brighter.

The whitening strips hold the 3% hydrogen peroxide formula against the tooth surface during treatment.

How long does it take whitening strips to work?

Whitening results develop gradually and vary by person. Some people may notice changes during the treatment series, while others experience their most visible improvement after completing more of the recommended treatments.

For the most consistent result, follow the complete treatment directions rather than increasing the recommended 30-minute wear time.

Are 3% hydrogen peroxide whitening strips good for coffee stains?

They can be. Coffee is a common source of extrinsic tooth staining, and hydrogen peroxide whitening strips are designed to help reduce discoloration associated with coffee, tea, wine and other strongly pigmented foods and drinks.

Do whitening strips work on yellow teeth?

Hydrogen peroxide whitening can help improve many types of yellow discoloration on natural teeth, particularly staining associated with food, beverages, tobacco and normal aging. Results depend on the underlying cause and depth of the discoloration.

Are hydrogen peroxide whitening strips safe for sensitive teeth?

Peroxide whitening can cause temporary tooth sensitivity or gum irritation in some people. If sensitivity develops, pause treatment or use the strips less frequently.

People who want to avoid peroxide entirely may prefer White in Minutes® PAP+ Whitening Strips.

Is 3% hydrogen peroxide strong enough to whiten teeth?

A product's effectiveness cannot be judged by concentration alone. Whitening results also depend on contact time, delivery method, formulation, starting tooth shade and type of discoloration.

These strips use 3% hydrogen peroxide in direct contact with the teeth for approximately 30 minutes per treatment.

How often should I use the strips?

Use one treatment per day for up to 14 treatments as directed. If temporary sensitivity occurs, pause treatment or space applications farther apart.

Can I leave the strips on longer than 30 minutes?

No. Follow the recommended 30-minute treatment time. Wearing whitening strips longer than directed does not necessarily produce better results and can increase the likelihood of sensitivity or irritation.

Can whitening strips whiten crowns, veneers, fillings or bonding?

No. Teeth whitening products change the shade of natural teeth. Porcelain crowns, veneers, dental fillings, implants and composite bonding do not whiten with hydrogen peroxide.

Can I eat or drink while wearing whitening strips?

No. Avoid eating, drinking, smoking, or chewing gum while the strips are in place. After treatment, removing the strips and rinsing your mouth before eating or drinking is recommended.

What is the difference between HP and PAP+ whitening strips?

White in Minutes® HP strips use 3% hydrogen peroxide, while PAP+ strips use a peroxide-free whitening formula. HP strips are designed for shoppers who want traditional peroxide-based whitening, while PAP+ strips are an alternative for people who prefer to avoid peroxide or are more sensitivity-conscious. Both are designed for 30-minute treatments.
