This professional R-20 tooth shade guide is comprised of 20 tooth shade tabs and is intended for teeth whitening and dental applications. A tooth shade guide is used to compare teeth whitening results before & after bleaching.
The tooth shade tabs are engraved with shade numbers and easily slide in and out of the base. Shade determination can be easily carried out according to systematic criteria.
Each R-20 tooth shade guide comes in plastic/acetate carrying case with mirrored interior and padded storage compartment. Exterior of case has reinforced corners, top surface is black acetate and bottom surface is silver metal. Microfiber buffing cloth included.
Tooth shade tabs can be sterilized in an autoclave up to a maximum temperature of 250° F or cold sterilized with a suitable disinfectant. The shade guide base is only suitable for surface disinfection, do not place in autoclave.

TO USE:
STEP 1: Remove R-20 Tooth Shade Guide from case.
STEP 2: Ask the patient to smile, exposing front teeth. Be sure lighting is true and bright in the room you are performing the shade match.
STEP 3: Place tooth shade guide in front of exposed teeth and visually match tooth shade tab to front tooth color. Pull matching tooth shade tab up and leave elevated or remove completely from the base until performing final tooth shade match after teeth whitening process is complete.
